At Mercy Memorial Hospital, we believe that early intervention and treatment can make a positive difference in the lives of persons challenged with mental illness or chemical dependency.

Our comprehensive approach to treatment is designed to meet the special needs of each patient and begins with a careful diagnostic evaluation. Neuropsychological testing, individual group and family therapies, educational programs, activity therapies, and medication management are used as needed to help the patient reduce the effects of symptoms and develop better coping skills.

Experienced and caring mental health professionals work together with the patient and family to plan and carry out effective treatment. Our treatment staff includes psychiatrists, social workers, psychologists, mental health nurses, addiction counselors, and occupational, music, and recreation therapists. As part of the Mercy Memorial Hospital continuum of care, our patients have ready access to other health care services that are convenient and timely.
