Nursing Center Volunteer Opportunities
The Mercy Memorial Nursing Center is currently recruiting individuals age 14 and over to serve as volunteers.
Duties May Include:
- One on One Visits
- Co-facilitating therapeutic groups
- Demonstrating and teaching special interests/hobbies
(i.e. scrapbooking, arts, crafts, cooking, gardening, etc.) - Assisting in outings in the community
- Providing opportunity for religious worship
(i.e. bible study, distributing communion, singing gospel music) - Offering entertainment program
(i.e. playing the piano, leading sing-a-longs, magic shows, etc) - Helping with the upkeep of pets and plants
- Assisting with special events
