Hospice Volunteer Opportunities
Hospice volunteers are an integral member of a team that assists patients who are terminally ill and their families. Volunteers must be 14 years of age or going into the ninth grade.
Duties May Include:
- Direct patient care
- Companionship
- Light housekeeping
- Errands
- Yard work
- Bereavement support
- Office/clerical support
- Computer work
- Fund-raising
- Flower program
- Community outreach

Hospice Volunteer Training
Training sessions for volunteers will take place on the following dates:
- Monday, August 20,
6:30 pm - 9 pm - Wednesday, August 22,
6:30 pm - 9 pm - Saturday, August 25,
8:30 am - 4:30 pm - Monday, August 27,
6:30 pm - 9 pm - Wednesday, August 29,
6:30 pm - 9 pm
