Volunteering

The Mercy Memorial Nursing Center is currently recruiting individuals age 14 and over to serve as volunteers.

Duties May Include:

• One on One Visits
• Co-facilitating therapeutic groups
• Demonstrating and teaching special interests/hobbies
  (i.e. scrapbooking, arts, crafts, cooking, gardening, etc.)
• Assisting in outings in the community
• Providing opportunity for religious worship
  (i.e. bible study, distributing communion, singing gospel music)
• Offering entertainment program
  (i.e. playing the piano, leading sing-a-longs, magic shows, etc)
• Helping with the upkeep of pets and plants
• Assisting with special events
