Mercy Memorial Helps Families Prepare for Birth

A happy and healthy birth starts long before labor begins. Proper preparation can help ensure a joyful birth experience. The physicians, nurses, and other health professionals provide the mother-to-be with all the necessary prenatal health care. Mercy Memorial also offers instruction on the birth process, helping children understand their new role as a brother or sister, baby care, and breast-feeding to prepare the entire family for the new arrival.

All classes are held at Mercy Memorial Hospital, 718 North Macomb Street in Monroe, Michigan. For more information regarding the class, times, cost and registration requirements, contact the prenatal education department at (734) 240-8500, Monday through Friday, between 8 am and 4 pm.
