Pediatric Care Area

When It’s Your Child, You Want the Best Care
Children don't get sick nor have accidents just during normal business hours. That's why our Pediatric Care Area is open seven days a week, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Patients three months to 17 years of age may receive care in a separate pediatric area provided by pediatric-specialty trained practitioners who are neonatal resuscitation providers (NRP) and pediatric life support providers (PALS). Pediatric and family-centered care is age appropriate, and focuses on minimizing fear and pain in the pediatric population. The Emergency Department is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
