Health Screenings
Annual Prostate Cancer Screening (FREE)
On a first come, first serve basis. Mercy Memorial Corporate Connection offers a free prostate cancer screening, both PSA (blood draw) and digital exam, for males 40 years of age and older. Please call (734) 240-4162 for further information.
Annual Skin Cancer Screening (FREE)
On a first come, first serve basis. Mercy Memorial Corporate Connection offers a free skin cancer screening by board certified dermatologists. Please call (734) 240-4162 for further information.
Blood Pressure Screening (FREE)
MMHS offers a FREE blood pressure screening held the second Wednesday of each month, 8 to 10 a.m. at the Mall of Monroe.
Corporate Connection
Our Corporate Connection, located at 901 N. Macomb St., Ste. 1, offers pre-employment exams and drug-screenings for workers compensation, Mercy Memorial Hospital System’s Corporate Connection provides comprehensive occupational medicine services including annual and baseline screenings for hearing, vision and pulmonary function, corporate wellness and prevention programs, on-site vaccinations and return-to work physicals. The following services are offered: health care services, drug-free work program, wellness and education, employee assistance, physical rehabilitation, work safety. Health Check
MMHS offers free and low cost health screenings four times per year. Free tests and services include: glaucoma, blood pressure, hearing, nutrition and medication counseling, height/weight measurement and pulmonary function test. No appointment necessary. Vouchers are available at each location for free prostate screening exam. The physical exam is free; PSA blood test–$20.
Other testing available for a small fee include blood panel–$25; diabetic screening hemoglobin A1C–$15; and colorectal cancer kits–$5. Other specialists may include podiatrists, sleep specialists, massage therapists, respiratory therapists and mental health professionals. Adult vaccines are available. Health Odyssey
MMHS offers a lunch and learn that begins at 11 a.m. followed by interactive wellness presentations at the Monroe Senior Center/Monroe Center for Healthy Aging, located at 15275 South Dixie Highway, Monroe. The Monroe Center for Healthy Aging along with Mercy Memorial Hospital collaborates to promote self-responsibility in healthy aging. RSVP required, call (734) 241-0404.
