1. Policies developed by the Operations and Training Committee (O&T of the Medical Control Board (MCB) shall be submitted to either the full Board or the Executive Committee for approval at the next regularly scheduled meeting.

2. Following approval by either the full Medical Control Board or the Executive Committee the policy will be sent concurrently to both MDCIS and all affected Monroe County Services for comment. The comment period shall conform to the 60 day period mandated by MDCIS.

3. If no comment of adverse impact is submitted by Monroe County Service providers, and following approval by MDCIS during the 60 day period, the policy will then be considered a codifed policy of the MCB And will become a part of the standard operating procedures manual.
